For those who call and have called Vancouver BC home, this piece should be wonderfully familiar. “Sunset on Grouse Mt.” was inspired by a wintry PNW sunset I was lucky enough to have seen while driving back from a hike with my family in the forest. The fading sun was so gracefully dressing their peaks that I had to pull over immediately, race across the street (to the astonishment of my family, even though they should be used to it by now… 😉 to photograph them before the sun set as I knew I just had to put them on canvas as I saw it.  I have been wanting to commemorate this local mountain in my own way for years, but hadn’t hit on the exact way to paint them, until now.  I hope you love it as much as I do!

This piece will be lovingly varnished in order to protect it for years of enjoyment to come. I will protectively wrap the piece with layers of care for the journey to your home. I will also sign and date it on the back for authenticity.
