Christmas Ornament – Moonrise

This abstract landscape Christmas Ornament was designed after my Moonrise Collection. Born in a flash of inspiration, I needed to just play in the studio with no expectations on outcomes.

At the heart of my work is to explore those feelings of peace and the divine I feel when in nature and creating art. Once I freed myself to play and explore, I delved further into those feelings of connection to nature and joy. While completely in the flow of my process, I could suddenly see clearly in my mind’s eye this abstract mountain in front of a gold leaf moon against a wood panel. The vision filled me with so much happiness I just had to bring it into reality!

So with this original, abstract landscape painting, It is my highest hope that you can bring some of that same joy and beauty to your home.
